Cecilia Lindström

Cecilia is an urban designer and nature conservationist with over 20 years’ experience specialising in strategic frameworks, placemaking visions, research and storytelling.

She honed her skills as a long-standing team member at Studio Egret West, where she led complex mixed-use regeneration projects across the UK, including the zonal masterplan for the East Wick & Sweetwater Olympic legacy neighbourhood in Stratford and the Mayfield mixed-use development and six-acre park in central Manchester.

Since joining Future Places Studio in 2022, Cecilia has led and contributed to research, strategy and thought leadership across a wide range of built environment issues, spanning public space, social value, diversity, workplace wellbeing, sustainability and ESG strategy.

Alongside her research, Cecilia delivers practical rewilding across London, supporting organisations and local communities to reimagine the role of nature in urban environments.
